“Let’s help somebody!” This is how we end every morning kick-off meeting at Integrity Wealth Advisors. I love our approach of “building lasting relationships through a unique financial planning experience.”
My wife, Coleen, is the most amazing person that I know! We were married in 1985. We have three awesome children: Billy, of Jacksonville Fla, Nick in Indianapolis and my daughter Brooke of South Bend. Brooke and her husband Tommy blessed all of us with our first grandchild, Henry, in December 2015.
After 15 years of working in the defense industry at Bendix/Allied Signal/Honeywell International, I became a financial advisor. Realizing the value of unbiased objective advice, I helped establish a local independent branch office of Securities America in 2002. In January 2014, I welcomed my son Nick to Integrity Wealth Advisors.
My professional licensing includes the FINRA series 7 and 63 and a life and health insurance license. I have earned the AAMS - Accredited Asset Management Specialist designation from the College for Financial Planning. I have also earned the Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) designation so I am well-equipped to help retirees with their income planning.
I am really passionate about college planning. I have gone through extensive training through the National Institute of Certified College Planning.
I am a huge wrestling junkie. I was an assistant wrestling coach at Clay High School for thirteen years, ending with the 2014-2015 season. I really love teaching “life lessons” to young men through wrestling.
My family laughed at my “mid-life” crisis --taking up fly fishing-- in 2008. At that time, I was blessed to be introduced to an amazing organization, the St. Joe River Valley Fly Fishers. The club is filled with avid fisherman concerned with doing the right thing for our fishing environment. The “tug is the drug!”
I am active in a number of community organizations and I am a long-time member of the Kiwanis Club of South Bend.
- In high school and college, I sported an afro that would have made “Sly Stone” jealous.
- Being a voracious reader I enjoy most things espionage, mystery and thrillers from such authors as David Baldacci, Daniel Silva, Robert Ludlum and Brad Thor.
- I love the Blues! I listen to all things blues from Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters to Buddy Guy and Joe Bonamassa.
